Introduction

This semester we have had a class based on Second Life, and I was first very interested in it because I knew that it is very popular aroud the world, and also because I read somewhere that people sell things for real money. So I had to figure out what it was all about.
After a couple of classes, I lost the interest for it, and I could not understand why people would spend days and nights- and MONEY in there. I got frustrated, and really wanted to close my computer, switch classes and forget about the whole thing. But after talking with my teacher, and seeing her interest and passion for it, I had to give it a chance. Espescially since I didn't know a lot about it, and I wanted to at least TRY to figure it out, before I gave up. So I decided to devote 20 days of my life on understanding Second Life. And if I don't find any interest after investing that much time, I really can conclude with the fact that Second Life is NOT for everybody. We'll see.
